중년여성학습자의 직업교육 프로그램 참여동기가 참여지속의도에 미치는 영향과 교육만족도의 매개효과: 서울시여성인력개발기관 학습자 중심으로

Abstract

이 연구는 중년여성학습자의 직업교육 프로그램 참여동기가 교육만족도와 참여지속의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고 향후 중년여성학습자를 위한 직업교육 프로그램 설계와 목표설정 시 방향성을 얻고자 착수되었다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 서울시여성인력개발기관에서 직업교육 프로그램을 수강 중인 40∼50대 중년여성학습자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 총 258부를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 목표지향성 동기를 지닌 중년여성학습자만이 학습참여를 지속하려는 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 목표지향성 및 학습지향성 동기를 지닌 중년여성학습자는 학습참여를 지속하는 데 있어 교육만족도가 매개로 작용하고 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 활동지향성 동기를 가진 학습자는 교육만족도나 참여지속의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 연구 결과를 토대로 여성인력개발기관에서 직업교육 프로그램 설계 시 방향성을 제시하기 위한 시사점으로 중년여성학습자의 학습 목적에 맞는 교육과정 개설과 교육내용, 강사 등 여러 측면에서 만족도를 제고할 필요성이 있다.

The purpose of this study was to determine how middle-aged female learners’ participation motivation of vocational education program affected educational satisfaction and participation continuation intention. To answer these questions in this study, a questionnaire was distributed to middle-aged female learners who participated in vocational education programs in seoul women’s resources development institute, and 258 copies were finally analyzed. This study obtained the following results: First, goal-orientated motivation alone had a significant impact on the intention to continue participation in learning. Second, the middle-aged female learners with goal-and learning-oriented motivation had learning participation continuation mediated by educational satisfaction. The following suggestions can be made for a direction in designing vocational education programs at women’s resources development institute: it is necessary to develop diverse curricula that meet middle-aged female learners goal with the aim of inducing them to continue to participate. It is also necessary to make middle-aged female learners be more satisfied with several aspects.
