- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to identify possible policy for the design improvement and identity making in the environment color through grasp the relationship between diversity policy of urban space to identity of environment color, which focused on a case study of Singapore central area that produced diversity policy and making the attractive landscape design. The method of the study will include literature reviews to identify the urban diversity policy in Singapore and the current status of environment color, and color summarization of the field survey to Singapore environment color based on cultural characteristic and climate. The result of the study was as follows; First, a urban design improvement based on a landscape identity and diversity need to sustainable policy and support. Second, Through Singapore case study, clarified relationship between environment color diversity and a sustainable policy to harmonized physical urban factors and cultural factors. This study can provide objectivity data for the improvement of urban design policy and environment color design based on urban identity.
