재활용활성화를 위한 세제·금융지원 정책방안 연구: 미국 지방정부 사례를 중심으로

Abstract

The environmental benefits of recycling have long been recognized. But now government and businesses are finding out that recycling is becoming an important growth industry to promote economic wealth, create jobs, and provide new business development opportunities. In this paper, we introduce and analyze the recycling programs that state and local governments in United States offer financial and technical assistance to recycling businesses. Benefits offered by the governments include low-interest loans, recycling equipment tax credit, hiring credit, business expense deduction, utilities reduction, discounted rates for energy cost, and loan programs, etc. To promote recycling, we suggest the proper incentives and opportunities for recycling-based businesses.
