페미니스트 가족치료 접근법의 특성에 관한 일 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 페미니스트 가족치료의 과정과 기법을 고찰함으로써 한국에 페미니스트 가족치료 접근법이 가족치료의 한 모델로 정착될 수 있는데 일조함을 연구의 의의로 삼는다.

This paper reviews the process and techniques of feminist family therapy which is approach known to be effective in resolving problems that involve sexual discrimination. This therapy approach has characteristics common to consciousness-raising model and its main techniques are education, challenging, presentation of alternatives, discussion of issues, therapist's advice, guidance and support, formation of network, self-assertiveness training, role play, modeling, etc. Although feminist family therapy has yet to be recognized as a mainstream therapy approach in Korea, more effort needs to be made to apply its process and techniques in clinical practice for further development so that it could be used as an independent family therapy model or in conjuction with other predominant models.
