- Abstract
- This article supplements the research methods of visual restoration rhetoric and montage theory. It analyzes the texts of Jia Zhangke’s many films, sorts out the details of the use of visual montage and audio-visual montage in Jia Zhangke’s films, and understands the visual and auditory senses accordingly. Through careful reading of the film text, this article believes that in Jia Zhangke’s films, the “feeling” such as audiovisual and audio-visual is a kind of strength, and montage exerts a rhetorical effect that strengthens artistic expression. The dislocation tension caused by the use of image rhetoric such as video montage and audio montage.
