- Abstract
- In a few years, mobile devices are expected to be a necessity for business and personal communications. Thus a comprehensive study on the acceptance of mobile devices in a mature market like Korea is needed. This paper develops an extended technology acceptance model by including the technological attributes of cellular phones, and examines the determinants of the acceptance of cellular phones. Our empirical analysis through an internet survey shows that perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and social pressure have positive direct impacts on the intention of accepting cellular phones.
