dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at development of BAL measurement techniques using enzyme activity and alcohol metabolite. We investigated alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) activity in a globule and plasma gathered from 20 Korean subjects who were drunk. Amount of ethanol and acetaldehyde in blood increased after drink. ADH activity in blood also increased. Generally, as BAL was higher, ADH specific activity was higher. On the average, ADH activity was higher in blood from women and nonsmokers than those from mend and smokers.-
