- Abstract
- 본 증례는 침술에 의한 급성 화농성 갑상선염의 최초의 예이다. 환자는 평소 건강하던 54세의 남자로 양성 갑상선 결절로 외래에서 추적 관찰 중 결절부위에 침술을 시행한 후 급성 화농성 갑상선염이 발생하였다. 배농액에서 Burkholderia cepacia가 동정되었으며, 항생제의 치료와 반복적인 세침흡인을 통하여 임상양상이 호전되었다. 침술도 관통상(penetrating injury)의 한 형태로, 갑상선의 기존 병변 부위에 침술을 시행할 경우 급성 화농성 갑상선염을 일으킬 수 있음을 고려해야 한다.
