메이커 교육 기반 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 교육 프로그램에 참여한 아버지의 경험과 변화

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 메이커 교육 기반 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 교육 프로그램에 참여한 아버지의 경험과 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 아버지 4명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여2019년 5월 3주부터 12월 4주까지 약 7개월 동안 프로그램을 적용하였다. 아버지 교육에 참여한 연구 참여자의 경험과 변화를 탐색하고자 각 차시 활동 녹음 자료와 개별 면담자료, 개별 성찰일지를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 본 프로그램에 참여한 아버지의 경험은 ‘혼란에 빠진 메이커 활동’, ‘고민하고 도전하는 아버지’, ‘메이커 활동을 즐기는 아버지’로 나타났다. 또한, 본 프로그램에 참여한 아버지들의 변화는 ‘자녀와 활발하게 소통하는 아버지’, ‘놀이전문가로 성장한 아버지’, ‘양육에 자신감 넘치는 아버지’로 나타났다. 본 연구는 메이커 교육기반 아버지 교육에 참여한 아버지의 경험과 변화를 살핌으로써 아버지의 양육역량을 성장시키기 위한 실효적이고 실천 가능한 아버지 교육 프로그램의 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에서그 의미가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes and experience meaning of education programs for fathers with early childhood children based on maker education. For this purpose, 11 sessions were conducted for approximately seven months, from the third week of May to the fourth week of December, targeting four fathers with early childhood children. To explore the changes and experience meanings of the fathers who participated in the education program, we collected and analyzed the recorded data from each session, individual interview data, and individual reflection journals. The study results are as follows. First, in the process of applying for the program, fathers experienced confusion and difficulties in the progress of the maker activities, but through constant thoughts and challenges, fathers enjoyed the maker activities with their children. Next, examining the changes in fathers that occurred as a result of this program, fathers actively communicated with their children, participated in play with them, and became more confident about raising children. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a direction for an effective and practicable paternal education program to improve fathers' parenting capabilities by examining the experiences and changes of fathers who participated in maker education-based paternal education.
