안전리더십이 안전행동에 미치는 영향: 안전전담조직의 조절효과를 중심으로

Abstract

[연구목적]본 연구에서는 안전리더십이 조직구성원의 안전행동에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, 안전분위기의 매개 역할과 안전전담조직의 조절 역할도 살펴봄으로써 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. [연구방법]제조업 전 산업분야 기업데이타를 대상으로 진행된 총 2,666개의 유효한 데이터를 통해 분석이 이루어졌다. 가설 검증은 SPSS의 Process Macro를 통해 분석을 수행했다. [연구결과]연구결과 안전리더십은 조직구성원의 안전행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 또한, 안전리더십과 안전행동 관계에서 안전분위기가 매개 역할을 하고 있었으며, 안전전담조직의 조절효과도 확인하였다. [연구의 시사점]기존 안전 관련 연구에서는 거의 다루어지지 않았던 주제인, 안전전담조직이 조직구성원의 안전리더십과 안전분위기 사이의 관계를 조절한다는 점을 찾아냈다. 또한, 광범위한 기업데이타를 활용하여 다양한 산업분야에서 조직구성원의 안전행동을 분석함으로써 안전과 관련된 연구 영역을 확대했다. 이런 연구결과를 볼 때 기업들은 긍정적 안전리더십 구축을 위한 전략을 개발하고, 안전행동을 위한 조직구성원의 동기 부여 방안 마련에 적극 나서야 한다는 시사점을 발견했다.

[Purpose]In this study, we tried to provide implications by examining the effect of safety leadership on the safety behavior. Also we examined the mediating effect of the safety climate and the moderate effect of the safety organization. [Methodology]The analysis was conducted through a total of 2,666 valid corporate data of manufacturing industry. For hypothesis verification, analysis was performed through SPSS Process Macro. [Findings]The research results indicate that safety leadership has a positive effect on the safety behavior. In addition, the safety climate showed a mediating effect in the relationship between safety leadership and safety behavior, and the moderating effect of the safety organization on safety behavior was also confirmed. [Implications]It was found that a safety organization, a topic that has rarely been dealt with in previous safety－related studies, moderates the relationship between the safety leadership and the safety climate. In addition, it is expanding safety－related areas by analyzing the safety behavior in various industries by utilizing extensive corporate data. From these research results, it is possible to get an implication that companies should actively develop strategies for establishing positive safety leadership and prepare plans to motivate members of the organization for safety behavior.
