유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자기분화와 부모효능감의 관계에서 배우자지지의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자기분화, 부모효능감 및 배우자지지 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기도, 충청도, 전라도, 경상도 그리고 제주도 지역의 어린이집과 유치원에 재학 중인 만 3, 4, 5세 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 396명이다. 본 연구에서 수집된 데이터는 SPSS 24.0을 이용하여 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하고 Baron과 Kenny의 매개효과 검증법에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하고, 마지막으로 Sobel test를 실시하여 매개경로의 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 아버지의 자기분화, 부모효능감 그리고 배우자지지 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과 아버지의 자기분화와 부모효능감, 아버지의 자기분화와 배우자지지, 배우자지지와 부모효능감 간에는 정적인 상관관계를 보여 서로 간에 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 자기분화와 부모효능감의 관계에서 배우자지지의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 자기분화가 부모효능감에 직접적으로 영향을 미침과 동시에 배우자지지를 매개로 하였을 때에도 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 아버지의 자기분화를 통해 심리적인 성숙과 건강한 정체성 확립을 이루는 것과 공동양육자인 어머니의 지지적 역할의 필요성을 확인하고, 아버지의 부모효능감을 높이기 위한 아버지를 대상으로 이루어질 교육의 내용과 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of maternal support on the relationship between self-differentiation and parental efficacy of fathers with young children. The subject were 396 fathers who had young children at child-care centers and kindergarten located in six different provinces. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive data analysis, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS 24.0. The mediating effect was tested by Baron and Kenny’s(1986) four steps including Sobel test. The results of this study were as follows. First, the relationships among the fathers’self-differentiation, parental efficacy, and spouse support were statistically positive. Second, the mediating effect of spouse support on fathers’ self-differentiation and parental efficacy was statistically significant.
