청소년수련관의 공간특성을 고려한 내부 환경색채 분석 - 서울 소재 시립 청소년수련관을 중심으로 -

Abstract

청소년수련관은 청소년들에게 건전한 여가활동과 다양한 체험학습, 문화 활동을 위한 프로그램 및 시설을 제공하는 활동시설이다. 따라서 청소년들에게 접근성 및 활용도를 높이기 위해 청소년들의 감성을 고려한 공간계획 및 환경색채계획이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 청소년수련관의 내부 환경색채 조사를 통해 청소년수련관의 색채 경향을 파악하고 공간특성을 고려한 개선방향을 제시하여 바람직한 색채계획의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. 연구의 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년수련관에 관련된 기존 연구와 문헌조사를 실시하고 청소년 수련관의 색채환경에 대한 방향을 파악한다. 둘째, 연구대상 청소년수련관의 일반적 현황을 파악하고 현장답사를 통하여 공간별 환경색채 실태조사를 한다. 셋째, 현장조사를 바탕으로 한 공간별 환경색채를 분석한다. 넷째, 연구의 분석결과를 토대로 연구대상지의 색채환경의 개선 방향을 제시하고 시사점을 도출한다. 청소년수련관의 내부 환경색채는 전체적으로 YR계열과 Y계열, 고명도 • 저채도에 분포하고 있어 다양성이 떨어지는 색채 구성의 문제점이 나타나고 있었다. 공간별 내부 환경색채 분석 결과, 공용 공간에서는 다양한 색채의 사용으로 청소년수련관의 특성을 나타내고 있는 반면, 문화공간, 체육공간, 교육공간의 색채는 YR, Y계열의 색채가 68.7%로 높은 비율을 보이고 있었다. 청소년수련관의 내부 환경 색채를 다양성 • 조화성 • 통일성을 고려하여 공간별로 평가한 결과 다양성은 공용공간이 가장 높게 평가되었으며 조화성은 문화공간, 통일성은 체육공간이 가장 높았다. 본 연구는 기존 선행 연구에서 미흡하게 다루어 졌던 청소년수련관의 내부 환경색채를 분석하고 평가한 점에서 향후 유사 연구에 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Youth Training Centers are activity installations providing programs and facilities designed for sound leisure activities, an array of participatory learning and cultural activities. Through the surveys on interior environment colors of Youth Training Centers, this study aims to inquire into chromatic tendency of the Centers and contribute to serving as a basic material of desirable color planning by proposing some improvement directions considering spatial characteristics. The research methods are as follows: Firstly, it conducts existing research and literature search related to Youth Training Centers, and it inquires into the directions regarding color environment of the Centers. Secondly, it figures out general current status of Youth Training Centers which correspond to the subject of the present study, and it carries out the actual condition survey classified by space through field study regarding space environment colors. Thirdly, it analyzes space environment colors by space based on the field study results. Lastly, it proposes some improvement directions of color environment pertaining to research subject areas and it draws implications based on the analysis results of survey. The interior environment colors of Youth Training Centers showed, in general, the problems of chromatic composition far from diversity, due to the distribution mainly focused on YR line and Y line, as well as high brightness and low chroma. According to the analysis result of interior environment colors classified by space, common use space displays the expected characteristics of Youth Training Centers based on a variety of color use, while the colors used in cultural space, sports space and educational space occupy the high rate of 68.7% of YR line and Y line. According to the evaluation made on the basis of space, considering diversity, harmony and unity of interior environment colors, the result shows that common use space registered the highest mark in terms of diversity, while cultural space won in terms of harmony and sports space, in terms of unity, respectively. This study expects to provide some implications for further analogous studies, in the sense that it analyzed and evaluated the interior environment colors of Youth Training Centers, which has been the theme insufficiently treated in existing preceding research.
