한·중 중학생의 사회적 지지, 고민, 학업 스트레스, 학교 만족도 및 행복감 간의 관계모형

Abstract

본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 중학생들을 대상으로 이들의 사회적 지지, 고민, 학업 스트레스, 학교 만족도 및 행복감에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고, 이들이 지닌 사회적 지지, 고민, 학업 스트레스, 학교 만족도가 행복감에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는지를 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 중학생 총 700명을 최종분석대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구 결과, 한국의 중학생들이 중국의 중학생들에 비해 사회적 지지가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 중국의 중학생들이 한국의 중학생들에 비해 고민과 학업 스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지지는 학교 만족도 및 행복감에 정적으로 직접적인 영향을 주고 있으며, 고민은 학교 만족도 및 행복감에 부적으로 직접적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 사회적 지지는 고민을 거쳐 학교 만족도 및 행복감에 정적으로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 한국 및 중국의 중학생 모두 동일하게 나타났다. 또한, 한국의 중학생들이 지닌 학업 스트레스는 행복감에 부적으로 직접적인 영향은 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 중국의 중학생들이 지닌 학업 스트레스는 학교 만족도를 거쳐 행복감에 부적으로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구 결과는 한국과 중국의 중학생들의 학교 만족도 및 행복감 증진을 위한 방안을 개발하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study was to examine the differences of Korean and Chinese middle school students on academic stress, adolescent concerns, social support, school satisfaction, and happiness, and direct and indirect effects of academic stress, adolescent concerns, social support, and school satisfaction on happiness. Results were as follows. Firstly, Chinese students had a higher academic stress and adolescent concerns than Korean students, Whereas Korean students had a higher social support than Chinese students. Secondly, for Korean and Chinese students, adolescent concerns had negative direct effects on school satisfaction and happiness, and social support had positive direct effects on school satisfaction and happiness, it also had positive indirect effects on school satisfaction and happiness via concerns for both Korean and Chinese students. Results also showed that academic stress had negative direct effects on school satisfaction and happiness in Korean students. In contrast, academic stress had a significant negative influence on happiness through school satisfaction in Chinese students. Implications of the study were discussed in depth.
