Abstract
This paper proposes a virtual underwater world based on real aquatic settings with virtual schooling fish and various seaweeds. As sensory technology was introduced and developed in the form of device techniques, HMD or data gloves and alike, real-time interaction with a virtual world is made possible where participant regard to the experience as if it is in the real world. Based on this, images were generated surrounding the participant experiencing the virtual world which was designed in 1-to-1 ratio with the real world. Moreover improvements were made to enhance participant's sense of experience by generating images in accordance with participant's hand movements that controlled underwater objects such as fish and seaweeds.
