Herein, we report on an optimal combination method using a genetic algorithm for polymeric semiconductors that use an arrangement of organic harvesting devices. We examined various factors of the organic semiconductors that affect the performance of organic solar cells. These factors are represented as chromosomes and genes to derive an optimal solution by applying a genetic algorithm. poly(3-hexylthiophene) and [6,6]-phenyl C-61-butyric acid methylester blends comprised of bulk-heterojunction structures were selected as the organic semiconductor to verify the proposed model. The experimental results show that the optimal combination of organic semiconductors used produced highly efficient energy harvesting devices.-
