- Abstract
- Ansan is the first planning city of Korea, which was called "Banwol Industrial City" in the late 1970s. At the time, Ansan is divided into central area, residential areas, and industrial district, where major public facilities are concentrated in central area. Also, urban sprawl has changed the role and character of the city in a different direction. Therefore, Ansan should take the role not only as a industrial city, but also as a good residential settlement. Thus, this study aims to research the distribution of the living infrastructure in Ansan, and the distance from each habitat to the main urban facilities, thereby suggesting the feature of the housing and expected problems.
