Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide researchers in the field of sports studies with primary data to prepare useful and effective research ethics education guidelines to explore desirable research ethics education methods in the field of sports studies. Method: In this study, the Delphi method was applied as a way to derive desirable sports ethics education methods, and for this purpose, a group of experts gathered opinions from professors of sports marketing, sports studies, sports physiology, sports rehabilitation, and special sports. At that time, the sports marketing professors selected six professors, three professors majoring in sports studies, two professors majoring in sports physiology, one professor majoring in sports rehabilitation, and one professor majoring in special sports. Results: The second Delphi Round survey, which categorized the results of the first Delphi Round, and the third Delphi Round analysis of the final ranking, was followed by ‘wrong data processing’, ‘publishing fraud’, ‘personal fraud’, and ‘research management and other fraud’. Conclusion: The results of this study are based on the subjective views of some experts and may not have included what is required for sports ethics education. Participants in the Delphi methodology conducted in this study are limited to faculty members located in the metropolitan area, which makes it difficult to generalize sports ethics training content through the Delphi method, so future research will result in more reliable results.
