김해 삼방동 도시재생뉴딜사업에서의 디자인 기반 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 잠재적 학습자 특성 및 유형 탐색

Abstract

이 연구는 김해시 삼방동 도시재생 뉴딜사업 디자인 기반교육 프로그램을 사례로 주민 대상 역량강화프로그램의 효과적인 운영방안을 마련하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 김해시 삼방동 지역주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 응답자의 프로그램 참여 의향, 프로그램 영역에 대한 현재 흥미도와 미래 중요성에대한 인식 정도 3개 항목을 이용하여 프로그램에 대한 관심도 수준에 따른 군집유형을 도출하고자 군집분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, ‘적극적 관심 집단’, ‘회의적 집단’, ‘부정적 집단’, 3개의 군집을 확보하였다. 군집간 인구통계적 특성 비교, 학습역량에 대한 인식, 기대하는 학습 결과물과 학습 참여 결정 요인, 선호하는 학습방법 비교를 위하여 교차분석, 일원배치분산분석을 실시하여, 각 군집유형에 속한 주민들의 학습에대한 선호도 특성을 확인하였다. 이를 통하여 주민들은 자신의 디자인 관련 역량 보유 수준이 낮은 편이라고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교수-학습방법으로는 실습 방식은 선호하는 편이지만, 협력학습에대해서는 집단에 따라 선호하는 집단과 선호하는 집단으로 구분됨을 볼 수 있다. 프로그램 운영 시간대와횟수에 대해서는 모든 집단이 동일한 선호도를 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 효과적인 프로그램운영을 위해서는 집단별 특성을 고려해야 한다는 점을 시사점으로 제시하였다.

This study was carried out to prepare an effective implementation of the design-based education programs that are scheduled to be operated in the Urban Regeneration New Deal project in Sambang-dong, Gimhae. For the study, a resident survey was conducted and the responses to the survey were used for a cluster analysis utilizing three items: respondents’ intentions to participate in the programs, current interest in the programs, and perception of future importance. As a result, a total of three groups were found: ‘active interest group’, ‘skeptical group’, and ‘negative group.’ Crossanalysis and one-way ANOVA were implemented to compare demographic characteristics between groups, recognition of learning competency, expected learning outcomes and learning participation determinants, and preferred learning methods. It was found that the entire group perceives their competency regarding design as being at a low level. In terms of teaching and learning methods, every group preferred practical exercise, but their preference regarding collaborative learning appeared differently. Per the findings, the study implies that learner-centered strategies as a way to effectively implement the design-based education programs in the Urban Regeneration New Deal project.
