- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to figure out the consumer experience and service improvement factors in camping site of downtown by utilizing critical incidents technique which is one of qualitative analysis methods. To attain the goal, the researcher selected 344 visitors who participated in 3 camping site of downtown. Research was conducted by using CIT. The analysis of the data was produced based on the observation reliability of 3 independent researchers who have sport management and outdoor camping tourism backgrounds. The results based on in-depth interviews are as follows. First, according to the results of analyzing the camping visitors’ positive experiences after the visit, 8 keywords are derived: accessibility, reservation system, utilization fee, delivery service, wireless internet, and additional facilities. Second, according to the results of analyzing the camping visitors’ negative experiences after the visit, 6 keywords are derived: excessive drinking, safety management, moving route, environmental atmosphere, observe the rules of etiquette, and staff service. Third, according to the result of analyzing measures to improve the camping site, 7 keywords are derived: environmental atmosphere, drinking culture, reservation system, safety management, moving route, amusement facilities for children and staff service.
