- Abstract
- In this study, the effects of thermal treatment on the properties of silver nanowires (AgNWs) were investigated. AgNWs were deposited on the flexible substrate using a solution-based bar-coating method. The sheet resistance and and visible-light transmittance of AgNWs were characterized as a function of the treatment temperature. Analyzing the change in the microstructure of AgNW due to heat treatment, it was found that the adhesion between wires was improved by heat treatment under a certain critical temperature, reducing the junction resistance between wires. However, at a temperature exceeding the critical temperature, the unique structure of the AgNW collapsed, thereby increasing the sheet resistance.
