- Abstract
- Recently, as international interest in sustainable architecture has increased, interest in life cycle assessment is also increasing. However, most of the time is spent in the analysis of major building materials at the stage of entering the quantity in the process of performing the life cycle assessment. Therefore, in this study, an efficient automatic analysis technique for major building materials was proposed as part of the development of a life cycle assessment program. For this purpose, in this study, the item code and data mapping technology were used to connect the quantity statement and the unit conversion factor for each material. As a result, an automatic analysis algorithm for major building materials was derived, which reduces the time required for life cycle assessment and is accessible to non-experts.
