Abstract
In order to predict and reduce carbon emissions from buildings, it is necessary to establish an objectively comparable baseline model by using information on existing buildings that can be collected. In particular, there is a need for objective standards for carbon reduction in the production stage, which emits about 30% or more of carbon in the life cycle of a building. Therefore, in this study, a baseline for the production stage of residential buildings was proposed as part of the standard setting for greenhouse gas reduction in the building sector. For this purpose, 74 cases of residential buildings were evaluated based on the life cycle evaluation technique, and a baseline of building greenhouse gas emissions in the production stage was proposed through probabilistic analysis.
