- Abstract
- With the recent emphasis on the seriousness of the climate crisis around the world, Korea is also striving to reduce greenhouse gases across all industries by declaring carbon neutrality and presenting greenhouse gas reduction targets. In particular, in the case of the construction industry, efforts are being made to reduce through the greenhouse gas, energy target management system, and emission trading system, but quantitative evaluation is not conducted properly due to difficulties in securing data in the construction process. Therefore, this study predicted carbon emissions according to the activity scenario of each construction equipment as part of the carbon emission reduction study in the construction site construction process to respond to the emission trading system. Energy consumption was inferred through the activity scenario for each construction equipment presented in the previous study, and based on this, carbon emissions generated during the construction process of the construction site were quantitatively evaluated.
