- Abstract
- Recently, the COVID-19 has caused a shortage of negative pressure isolation rooms world wide. After the MERS crisis in 2015, the Korean government revised the law on prevention and management of infectious diseases, but it was insufficient to respond to rapidly increasing virus outbreak. As a result, it is necessary to program utilize a quickly responsive modular NPIR to treat treat the patients. Therefore, the goal of this study is to develop 1) Modular negative pressure space design requirements to cope with national disasters and emergencies such as epidemics 2) Proposal of guidelines for a modular hospital space.
