- Abstract
- Multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) is considered to be a very promising and suitable scheme for underwater acoustic networking communication systems due to its high spectrum utilization efficiency, strong anti-multipath interference ability, and prominent multiple access ability. In this paper, we propose a multi-objective transmission power allocation scheme based on genetic algorithm for MC-CDMA underwater networking communication system. The energy consuming and signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of the system are simultaneously optimized. Numerical results show that the proposed power allocation scheme obviously reduces the system energy consuming and enhances bit-error-rate (BER) performance. © 2016 IEEE.
