Managing Emergencies through Healthcare Resource Sharing and Donations

Abstract

This framework provides donation and resource-sharing strategies in the healthcare system to manage emergencies/pandemics with the objectives of cost reduction, improved resilience, and responsiveness. It is a multi-objective optimization model and the results are useful for the government and healthcare departments to design and devise healthcare policies.
