코로나19 전후 좋은 일자리 변화

Abstract

최근 단순히 취업 여부나 높은 임금을 제공하는 일자리뿐만 아니라, 일과 삶의 균형, 복지, 근로환경 등 일자리의 질적 측면에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 임금, 근로시간, 고용 안전성을 기준으로 좋은 일자리를 정의한 후, 좋은 일자리와 관련된 현황을 성별, 연령별, 지역별, 산업별로 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 여성과 청년은 남성과 비청년 대비 좋은 일자리 비율이 낮은 산업에 종사하는 것으로 나타났으며, 인구감소 지역 역시 좋은 일자리 비율이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 여성과 청년은 각각 남성과 비청년 대비 좋은 일자리를 가질 확률이 하락한 것으로 분석되었다.

Recently, there has been increasing interest in good jobs, considering various working conditions. This study defines good jobs based on wages, working hours, and employment stability, and examines the current status by gender, age, region, and industry. The findings show that women and youth are underrepresented in industries with a higher proportion of good jobs compared to men and non-youth. Additionally, regions experiencing population decline show a lower prevalence of good jobs. This study further analyzes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, revealing that women and youth faced a greater decline in the likelihood of securing good jobs compared to men and non-youth.
