Abstract
Current study aims to investigate any distinction between the mobile game addicted and non-addicted players by analyzing the EEG data. Method: The mobile players were allowed to play game for a fixed interval of time. Then a slot of 60 sec was chosen for analysis. Preliminary analysis of the signals were carried out with Acqknowledge software of BIOPAC Systems. From the survey based on CGS manual study 2010, it was concluded that five participants out of fifteen were in addictive category. This was used as prior information to group the addicted and nonaddicted by physiological analysis. Statistical analysis showed that by applying the clustering technique we were able to categorize the addicted players specifically on theta frequency range of occipital area.
