- Abstract
- The construction industry is increasingly interested in factory-produced architecture due to various problems, and it is introducing modular architecture as a way to implement it. It has been making efforts for many years to introduce modular architecture globally, and overseas research scope is gradually expanding from simply introducing modular architecture to developing decision systems and modular parametric optimization framework. However, in order to introduce modular architecture in Korea, attempts to introduce large-scale modular architecture such as apartments and dormitories continue, but research on small-scale modular architecture is insufficient. In addition, the scope of the study does not meet user requirements. Therefore, this study limits the study of small detached houses. Preference survey on space was conducted on newly married couples and elderly couples and unit modulator was derived based on this result. In addition, the number of single couples has increased due to the burden of housing development, but the government has proposed measures to address this issue, and the demand for single-family housing suitable for newly married couples is increasing, and as the pace of aging in Korea increases, we would like to propose a single-family housing design plan suitable for newlyweds and elderly couples to live in.
