영화 평점에 영향을 미치는 감정 동사 연구: 3개 흥행 영화를 중심으로

Abstract

이 연구는 흥행 영화 3편(기생충, 극한직업, 엑시트)을 중심으로 응답자 평점 구조의 특성 및 감정 동사 평가가 영화 평점에 미치는 영향 등을 살펴 보기 위한 것이다. 주요 연구 결과들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 척도 구분에 따 른 분포의 차이는 있지만 평균으로 살펴볼 때 5점 척도나 9점 척도 모두 영 화 평가의 차이는 크게 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 응답자들이 특정 영화를 관 람하기 이전에 갖고 있던 영화 평가 기준 값과 특정 영화를 관람한 이후 영 화 평가 기준은 흥행 영화에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 영화에 대한 감정 동사 평가가 영화 평점에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 회귀분석 방식을 활 용했다. 3편의 영화들에 대해 각 13개의 감정 동사 평가를 독립 변수로, 개 별 영화에 대한 평점을 종속 변수로 투입했다. 회귀분석 결과, 기생충은 “최 고다”와 “독특하다”는 평가가, 극한직업은 “잘 만들어졌다”는 평가가, 엑시 트는 “또 보고 싶다”와 “잘 만들어졌다”는 평가가 의미 있는 독립 변수로 나 타났다. 넷째, 회귀분석과 함께 3편의 영화들에 대한 감정동사 평가와 평점 간의 다차원축적 분석 결과를 함께 살펴본 결과, 대체로 회귀분석 결과와 유사하게 나타났다.

The study examines the effects of emotional verbs on the movie ratings based on three Korean movies such as Parasite, Extreme Job and Exit. The total of 264 respondents were participated in this online survey. The major results were as follows: firstly, there was no any difference between 5 points and 9 points in terms of scales for evaluating movies based on 213 emotional verbs. Secondly, there was some significant differences between before and after watching movie in terms of evaluating three movies. Thirdly, results of the regression analyses showed that two or three emotional verbs explained the movie ratings, according to movies. Fourthly, spatial analyses for exploring the relationships among emotional verbs and movie ratings were similar to those of the regression analyses.
