- Abstract
- Software Product Line (SPL) is extensively used in industry for quick development with reusability of resources from domain engineering to application engineering. For testing the products from domain engineering to application engineering traceability of requirements are important. In sequential product development, it is easy to create the links between software artifacts. However, in SPL traceability links are difficult to create where multiple products from same domain with some variation point according to stakeholder. This paper proposes framework for traceability links in SPL processes i.e. domain engineering to application engineering artifacts by using goal base modeling. First step is to identify the variation points from domain feature model and trace the link at implementation level of SPL platform. Second step is to trace the links from each artifact of domain to application engineering for the development of final products. We have applied our approach on general SPL feature model and get the results of final products with zero constraint violation. © 2005 - 2016 JATIT & LLS. All rights reserved.
