Abstract
This paper presents the performance analysis and experiment of vibration and noise in transformer cores, considering the different magnetostriction influence of electrical steel sheets in the lamination rolling direction and perpendicular to this direction. Firstly, the magnetostrictive curves are obtained by the experimental test, which are utilized for the accurate setup in the finite element method (FEM). Then, the vibration and noise of a single phase power transformer are analyzed by FEM. Finally, the simulation results are verified by the experimental results under the DC bias.
