- Abstract
- With the growth of mobile technology and social network services, a new infrastructure is getting immense popularity named as mobile social networks (MSN). MSN provides communication and resource sharing facilities to socially connected mobile users. At first glance, MSNs are similar to traditional systems and can be viewed as modern kinds of delay-tolerant-network (DTNs), but they present a dramatically different set of security, privacy and trust concerns. In this paper, we are presenting an approach for one of the famous application of MSN i.e. profile matchmaking, in which users share their interests and find mutual friends. We argue that before sharing their interests, building trust among parties is important so that they can rely on each other. In our approach, after building trust a user may allow other user to initiate the matchmaking protocol without the fear of Sybil attacks and failure of counter check in case of other node run away.
