Abstract
A study on the Electro-conductive exothermic hardened cement paste has been conducted by mixing carbon mainly. However, it caused difficult mixing efficiency, decreased liquidity and strength. Futhermore, it showed no exothermic reproducibility that led to the non-active research as a result. To improve this issue, the objective of this study is to evaluate exothermic properties of cement paste that is mixed with carbon, AE plasticizer and other materials; nickel powder which is conductive metal material and carbon mesh, respectively. Test specimens were made and evaluated under negative temperature for the consideration of usage as an snow-melting material. The evaluation of exothermic property of specimens was conducted through Data logger. Also, XRD test was conducted to investigate the cause on exothermic reproducibility of specimen. As a result, it was found that usage of AE plasticizer is essential for showing exothermic property under negative temperature and oxidation of carbon decreases exothermic reproducibility of specimens.
