- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to inquire into the structural relations between junior & senior high school team leaders' controlled coaching behavior and adolescent players' passion and exercise adherence. In order to achieve such a research objective, this study selected a total of 407 copies of questionnaires as final valid samples using convenience sampling targeting student athletics at 5 physical education & general junior & senior schools located in metropolitan areas and Chungcheong areas. As for data processing, this study did hypothesis testing after confirming goodness-of-fit test of the whole model using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0; the test results are as follows: First, it was confirmed that compensation utilization of controlled coaching behavior had a positive influence on passion, and excessive personal control had a positive influence on harmonious passion while having a negatively significant influence on obsessive passion. Second, only the harmonious passion among passion was found to have a significant influence on exercise adherence. Third, only the negative conditional relations among controlled coaching behavior was found to have a negatively significant influence on exercise adherence.
Lastly, in relations between controlled coaching behavior and exercise adherence, harmonious passion was found to play a role of intermediation.
