Abstract

IUMRS-ICA-2012 is a continuation in the series of the conferences among the Asian MRS Members including C-MRS, MRS-I, MRS-J, MRS-K, MRS-S and MRS-T. The scope of IUMRS-ICA 2012 includes symposia, such Electronic and Photonic Materials, Functional Materials, Advanced Structural Materials, Materials for Energy and Environmental, and Modeling and Characterization. Many of the submitted papers describe newly-developed materials, processes, device technologies, and the development of basic and novel material technologies. The Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology contains peer-reviewed papers presented at IUMRS-ICA 2012 following a thorough review process. A total of 99 papers have been selected from among 146 submitted papers including 7 plenary talks, 529 oral presentations and 1,064 posters covering 21 symposia.
