- Abstract
- Since 2007, the beginning of the Green Building Certification System (GBCS) such as LEED (USGBC), LOTUS (VGBC), EDGE (IFC) and QCVN 09-2017/BXD (Vietnamese Ministry of construction) has started to show up in Vietnam. With the diversity of advantages/disadvantages of GBCSs, it has created much developers' confusion about the green building decision invest. In this study, each GBCS has analyzed the certification process, the evaluation credits, the rating scale, the cost of certification, and other. Furthermore, the SWOT model is also employed to summary the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of each GBCSs. The study result is a comparison summary of the GBCSs, which would support the developer in deducting confusing among various GBCSs in practice
