- Abstract
- The five representative nations: Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland of the Scandinavian Peninsula value their nature, tradition, and environment and share their historical and linguistically homogeneity. This bond between these nations is called the ‘Scandinavian design’ The form was developed in a new and valuable way in order to be free from the formalities of trend and maximize living convenience. The ‘Scandinavian design’ is also getting domestic attention not only in eco-friendly designs but also in body engineering designs. This study focuses on the regional, cultural characteristics and design characteristics of Scandinavia and analyzing it’s cases in design.
