- Abstract
- 최근 인터넷 트래픽의 급속한 증가와 이에 따른 인터넷 서비스 제공사업자(ISP)들의 트래픽 관리에 대응하여 각국 규제기관은 트래픽 관리에 관한 규제 지침을 제정하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 상황에서 인터넷 서비스 제공사업자들의 대응전략을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 목적에 따라 최근의 인터넷 트래픽의 동향을 살펴보았고 우리나라를 포함한 주요국의 트래픽 관리 규제상황을 살펴보았다. 아울러 각국 인터넷 서비스 제공사업자들의 트래픽 관리 측면의 대응 현황을 살펴보았다. 이로부터 우리나라 인터넷 서비스 제공사업자의 전략적 대응방안을 투자확대 측면, 인터넷 상호접속 측면, 트래픽 관리 측면에서 검토해 보았다.
