- Abstract
- To investigate the temperature dependency of gibbsite and boehmite formation, the Gibbs free energy change (Delta G) was calculated at different temperatures. Calculated Gibbs free energy shows a positive value at 323 K, and gibbsite formation is preferred. On the other hand, it shows a negative Delta G value at 371 K, and boehmite. formation is preferred. These predictions were characterized by transmittance electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.
