- Abstract
- Recently, the trend color cycle is being shortened as a result of consumer desire becoming segmented and diversified, and it is now difficult to satisfy customers solely with the functional quality of a product. In order to meet ever-changing needs and wants of consumers, more and more firms analyze and utilize consumer behavior and trend. The main players in the industry may refer to new products and concepts introduced at well-known exhibitions and fairs, as well as prepare for and suggest new trend for the forthcoming season. Therefore, throughly analyzing the environment, collecting variety of information for the prediction of demand, and effectively utilizing such data all play key role in design industry in order to plan and manage product design. Thus there is the need to precisely analyze the trend indicated in the world's famous exhibitions to create added value in interior product design. This study investigate and analyze the 4 themes, which are the new trend introduced by 'Heimtextil 2013,' in ord er to grasp the market trend of interior product design concept, as well as case study domestic and global products that reflect this year's trends.
