국내 화장시설의 공간구성 실태파악에 관한 연구

Abstract

Today, Korean funeral culture tends to prefer cremation to burial. The rate of the cremation has increased rapidly from 33% in 2000 to 65% in 2009. Increasing the rate, in the law on funeral and the like that established in 2001, it requires that each of local autonomous entity must build facilities for local society and supervise it as a duty. For this reason, A major cities ? Seoul, Seong nam, Incheon, Sejong, etc- developed facilities by building newly or extending it. This study aims to comprehend the trend of funeral culture in domestic cases through analyzing spatial configuration system of crematorium that built in major citis since 2012 and utilize for establishing a new architectural planning model in the future.
