- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to analyze the breath pattern(perception, emerging path, struggles, stop, stop·keep type, stop·keep depth of breath, maintenance) during swing motion by golf participation’ qualification levels to provide the basic data to coaches and players, and also to present proper patterns of breathing. 339 subjects from different golf associations such as KPGA, USGTF, WPGA, PGPGA et another association member and amateurs were collected as samples. SPSS Ver. 18.0 were performed to analyze the frequency. In the result of frequency analysis, there was a high perception level(p<.001) in K(L)PGA regular and associate members in the breath pattern presence. In the struggle level, K(L)PGA regular and associate members was significantly high(p<0.01). In the type of stops, K(L)PGA regular members and other golf professional members showed deep breath and stops(p<.01). There was significantly high maintenance levels of breath among all groups during backswing(p<.05). It is considered that players should try to have thorough knowledges of the breath pattern for example start swing after taking easy breath.
