가족 커뮤니케이션 유형별 결혼관 및 배우자 선택 차이 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 결혼관과 배우자 선택 요인에 영향을 주는 많은 변인들 중, 가족의 커뮤니케이션이 결혼을 결정하는 데 있어서 어떤 영향을 끼치는지 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 대학생과 직장인을 포함한 성인 총 423명을 대상으로 가족 커뮤니케이션의 대화지향과 순응지향의 높고 낮음에 따라, 협의형, 다원형, 권위형, 방임형의 네 가지 가족 커뮤니케이션 유형으로 구분해 전통적 결혼관, 결혼의 불합리성, 결혼의 필요성 등 세개의 결혼관과 배우자 선택의 외적조건, 내적조건 등에 어떤 차이가 있는지를 살펴봤다. 그 결과, 가족 커뮤니케이션 유형별로 결혼관과 배우자 선택 요인 모든 항목에서 유의미한 차이를 보였는데, 대화를 많이 하는 협의형, 다원형 등은 결혼에 대해 긍정적으로 생각하고 배우자 선택 기준도 중요하게 고려 하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 가족 간 대화가 거의 없이 구성원의 개인주의적 생활형태가 두드러진 방임형 가족은 결혼에 대해 부정적임과 동시에 배우자 선택 조건도 중요하게 고려하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Using survey research, this study examines the effects of family communication patterns on choices of marriage and spouse. According to family communication patterns based on conversation-oriented or conformity-oriented, it is divided into four different patterns such as laissez-faire, consensual, pluralistic, and protective and laissez-faire. Also, this study examined differences in terms of views for marriage including traditional values of marriage, irrationalism of marriage, necessity of marriage. The major results are followed; firstly, patterns of family communication had own different features. The consensual and the pluralistic communication patterns considered marriage as positive and evaluated spouse’s conditions as important. However, respondents who had the laissez-fair pattern considered marriage as negative and tended to neglect spouse's conditions.
