- Abstract
- This The purpose of this study is to analyze in-depth how University students recognize physical education through cases of their participation in the cultural physical education course. In order to achieve this goal, a case study was conducted on five representative students of a cultural physical education course using a purposeful sampling. Data collected through the case were reflection diaries, in-depth interview, descriptive survey, non-participation observation and desk research, and the data were used to draw up case records and general individual profiles for an inductive categorical analysis. In addition, in order to secure the authenticity of the study, a constant comparative method was used through continuous discussion among three experts experienced in qualitative research, and a multi dimensional analysis and Triangulation made it possible to secure the authenticity of the study. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that the motive of students' participation in the cultural physical education course was monotonous. Second, students enjoyed physical activities through the cultural P.E. course. Third, students discovered more advantages of physical activities than they had expected by participating in the cultural physical education course.
