- Abstract
- The study aims to clarify some changing roles of the housing galleries in downtown. In doing so, it could be a basic guideline for the future housing gallery. As today the cultural asset has been gradually increased, the model house only for showing a house built for sale evolved into a housing gallery where has the various cultural functions. The housing gallery, as a culture complex, provides the various experiences and offers the various cultural events to the customer. In the respects, new and old housing galleries are compared in terms of their spatial organization and cultual programs. Through the analysis on the recent housing galleries which are successfully operating examples, the role change of the housing galleries could be found out.
