- Abstract
- Even though PVR (Personal Video Recoder) is becoming one of the main functions of set-top box, storing after encryption is necessary for preventing leak of contents. In this paper, secure PVR method, with which contents are stored intact by using improved CAS (Conditional Access System) type chipset-pairing. The advantage of the suggest method are that it prevents leak of contents, and can support time-shift and trick mode. ©2011 IEEE.
