Abstract
Corrosion inhibitor admixtures have been in use for some time to extend the life of concrete infrastructures. The most common amongst these are the inhibitor based on inorganic nitrite. In recent years inhibitors based on organic amins have become available with the claimed advantage that, as well as being capable of application as admixtures, they may be applied to the surface of the concrete. In this study, we estimate the corrossion rate of bar by Tafel extrapolation method, one of electrochemical technoque, and the reasonable dosage of inhibitor, and we evaluate the corrosion protection effect between adsorption inhibitor and passive film forming inhibitor.
