교육용 경영 시뮬레이션 게임의 개발 방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

최근 기업 및 대학의 경영교육에서 현실과 유사한 가상 환경을 기반으로 기업 경영을 간접적으로 체험하고, 팀 간의 경쟁을 통해 학습할 수 있는 경영 시뮬레이션 게임(business simulation game)이 활성화 되고 있다. 많은 연구들에서 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 활용한 경영 교육이 다른 경영 교육 방법에 비해서 교육효과가 높다는 것을 실증적으로 입증하고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 경영 시뮬레이션 게임에 대한 인식이 부족하고, 경영 시뮬레이션 게임이 다양하지 못하며, 체계적인 게임 기반의 교육 방법이 부족하기 때문에 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 활용한 경영 교육이 활성화되지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 경영 시뮬레이션 게임 교육을 활성화하기 위해서 가장 시급한 일 중 하나는 국내 기업 현실을 반영한 다양한 경영 시뮬레이션 게임들을 개발하는 것이다. 하지만 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 개발하기 위한 체계적인 방법론이 부족할 뿐만 아니라 이를 개발할 수 있는 전문가가 절대적으로 부족하기 때문에 우수한 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 개발하기가 어려운 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교육용 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 개발한 경험과 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 활용한 교육 방법 및 교육 경험 등을 기반으로 교육용 경영 시뮬레이션 게임을 개발하기 위한 개발 방법론을 제시하고 있다.

Business simulation has been utilized in many university education programs and business training programs as it provides chances for learners to learn and master how to operate their business in simulated environment, which depicts a world similar to the real situation. It actually has been proven in many studies that the business simulation game is so more effective than any other learning methods to learn business field. However, the business simulation game has not been activated well in Korea due to the several reasons: having less recognition in domestic market and lack of diversified program and systematic training methods. This study suggests the methodology to develop the educational business simulation game. The methodology suggested in this study can be used to develop educational business simulation game more effectively and efficiently.
