- Abstract
- The study planned the exercise program focusing on reinforcement of leg muscular strength, improvement of flexibility and increase of balance ability in order to improve the senior's walking ability. The purpose of this study is to develop the optimum exercise program by using Delphi technique and repeating questionnaires until getting high-level agreement. As the result of Delphi research, 55 sub questions were selected in 4 upper categories through the first open-ended questionnaire. The second research was performed by Likert 5-point scale. The result of the second research revealed that 54 out of 55 sub questions were higher than specialists' agreement level(Average = higher than 4.0). However, the average value of 'adduct knee and contact ground(leftright) side by side in the state of sitting and folding both knees' in the first step of this exercise was 3.7 so it was lower than specialists' agreement level(Average = higher than 4.0). Therefore, it was removed from the questions of the first step area of this exercise. The same questionnaire as that of the second questionnaire was performed in the third research. In the result of questionnaire of 54 sub questions selected for the second research, all sub questions were higher than specialists' agreement level(Average = higher than 4.0) so finally 54 sub questions were selected.
